Urn plots beside trees and habitats
At Lintorfer Mark, ashes are buried in biodegradable urns in the forest soil. A selected tree or habitat can accommodate up to twelve burial places.
Basic and communal places
Basic plots are assigned by the operator. Communal plots can be selected in different categories. Before deciding, ask for the precise identifier, the approach from the path and current availability.
Family and friends’ plots
Families and groups of friends can select their own trees or habitats. Use rights extend no later than 2121; the regular resting period for an individual interment is 30 years. Agree with the administration which further plots can be acquired and which people may use them before signing the agreement.
Sternschnuppen trees
For children up to the age of five, the operator provides Sternschnuppen tree plots without a plot fee. Discuss the scope and any further funeral services individually.
Design and future visits
A number and coloured plaque identify each burial place. Nameplates are available on request. Grave ornaments and lights are prohibited; the natural woodland replaces individually planted grave beds.
