Grave care in the burial woodland
At Lintorfer Mark, a burial place remains part of the forest. Individually planted grave beds are not created here. The operator prohibits additional grave ornaments and lights; habitat burial areas must not be cultivated, altered or decorated.
Identification instead of planting
Burial places have numbers and coloured plaques. A nameplate with birth and death dates is available on request, attached to the tree or to a post in the habitat area. Authorised people can request location details through the burial-place register.
Ask about a particular issue
Contact the woodland administration about a damaged nameplate, unclear identifier or the condition of an access path. Give the tree or habitat identifier, plot number and a clear description of the place. Independent planting, pruning or cleaning at a natural grave is not a regular maintenance option in this woodland.

Prepare a visit or plot choice
The arrival point is the walking car park at An den Hanten / Krummenweger Straße. Grave types explains basic, communal, family and friends’ plots. Use grave search for an existing burial place; general woodland paths on the map do not replace a tree or plot identifier.
